International Biosciences Collaborates With Make-A-Wish® Ireland Children’s Charity

DUBLIN, Ireland – 01 December 2014 – International Biosciences Ireland collaborates with Make-A-Wish® Ireland as part of its corporate, philanthropic endeavour towards building a better community, reaching out to those in need.

Make-A-Wish® Ireland has one simple aim – we grant the wishes of children aged between 3 and 17 years living with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. A wish granted is true magic for the child, providing respite from their normal routines of hospitals, doctors and treatment.

There are four types of wishes and a child’s Christmas wish could be to Go to Lapland, to Meet Santa, to Have an iPad or to Be a Chef

Since inception in 1992 we have granted over 1,600 wishes in Ireland. We believe a wish can have a lasting impact on a child’s life.

International Biosciences is a Dublin-based DNA testing company specialising in paternity and relationship testing, baby gender, genetic predisposition, weight & wellness and ancestry tests. International Biosciences was set up in 2005 and now operates in 16 countries providing DNA testing services to private clients as well as government departments and solicitors using state of the art technology provided by an internationally accredited laboratory.

We have chosen to partner with Make-A-Wish® Ireland as part of our drive to support local charities in each of our locations worldwide. Make-A-Wish® Ireland support children and we hope that our services help do the same in finding answers to sometimes difficult and emotional questions.

Our donation to Make-A-Wish® Ireland children’s charity was just one of the many endeavours International Biosciences undertook in 2014 as part of its corporate social responsibility. At the moment we are strongly focused on helping children’s charities in various ways and have also collaborated with Safety Net, a children’s charity which aims at preventing child abuse and building a safer community and Rockinghorse, a children’s charity which raises money for life-saving treatment and medication.
